Cheryl McDonald, LMT, is the owner of Origins Massage & Bodywork, LLC located in beautiful Bozeman, MT.

Cheryl has lived in Bozeman for 19 years and has 26 years experience in the health and wellness industry. Cheryl graduated from Potsdam State University in New York with a BA in English Literature and a minor in Communications in 1991. While holding a full time job after graduation, Cheryl worked part time as a fitness instructor and later chose to become certified through the American College of Sports MedicineⓇ as a Health/Fitness Instructor and Trainer. Cheryl worked with many clients assisting them in their personal journeys to become more fit and/or increase their athletic performance as well as taught several classes which included Spinning, Kickboxing, and Group Strength Training and Core Conditioning.

After working several years as a trainer, Cheryl made the decision to attend Health Works Institute to study massage therapy in Bozeman, MT where she graduated with 1000 hours of coursework in Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology, Kinesiology, Swedish Massage, Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular Trigger Point Therapy, Sports Massage, and Asian Technique.

Cheryl specializes in Clinical Therapeutic Massage, Sports Massage, and Relaxation Massage and regularly receives referrals from local physical therapists, chiropractors, and physicians for their patients.

Cheryl works with Motor Vehicle Accident patients and Workers Compensation patients and also accepts individual health insurance for those who have massage therapy as a benefit in their insurance policy. This includes massage therapy fee reimbursement for employees of Montana State University.
